Bringing new subscribers to HBO GO, entertainment streaming platform, by creating a positive hype perpetuating social change for shows “Big Little Lies” and “The Handmaids Tale”.
In an era where influencer marketing turned from discovering all the sources that influence target audiences and utilizing them to paying half naked people to pose with a product, we wanted to make a difference. Women coming from various fields such as politics, business, theater and activism inspired by the shows they watched on the HBO GO platform shared their personal empowering messages on their social media channels. Resonating with their female followers, influencers sent out thoughtful messages and initiated discussions regarding the questions of patriarchy, sexual abuse and inequality, setting this campaign apart from the substance lacking noise widely present in today’s social media advertising space.
